On 02 March 2026, the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PMAAAI) held its Turnover and Assumption Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the continuing leadership and service of the Association.

During the ceremony, Cav Ramon T. Punzalan ’76 formally relinquished his duties as Chairman, expressing gratitude for the collective support of the Board and the alumni corps throughout his term. Cav Ricardo A. David Jr. ’77 officially assumed office as Chairman for AY 2026–2027, committing to further strengthen unity, alumni engagement, and the Association’s role in nation-building.

The symbolic handover of the PMAAAI Standard and the presentation of the Plaque of Distinction to the Outgoing Chairman highlighted the seamless transition of leadership and the enduring traditions of the Long Gray Line.

The ceremony was presided over by LTGEN Antonio G. Nafarrete, PA, Commanding General of the Philippine Army, who delivered inspiring remarks emphasizing Unity, Legacy, Service. 

The event reaffirmed PMAAAI’s steadfast commitment to Courage, Integrity, and Loyalty.
